Don Ho

In the spring of 2007, legendary Hawaiian entertainer Don Ho sat down with veteran music biographer Jerry Hopkins for a series of interviews meant to complete his memoirs…a project he’d put off doing for years. These interviews turned out to be the final ones of his life.

This unique autobiography chronicling Donald Tai Loy Ho’s life is a “modern Hawaiian quilt” of memories. The ambassador of aloha, Ho embodied the laid-back tropical lifestyle worldwide through his recordings and appearances both on television and in concert, and along the way became Hawai‘i’s best known and most beloved personality of all time.
